• New ingredient: Drink Mix now contains a minimal amount of sodium bicarbonate. Many sports drinks are acidic, which can harm tooth enamel. The sodium bicarbonate in Drink Mix helps to maintain a neutral pH (not lower than pH 6).
• Easier to drink: Improved, lower viscosity — Drink Mix is now less thick, making it easier for athletes to consume more carbohydrates during training or racing.
• More reliability when using hard water: Improved tolerance to higher levels of calcium in water — up to 80 mg calcium/L. The viscosity of Drink Mix stays the same even when mixing with harder, high-calcium water. This means more reliable fueling with Drink Mix even when traveling to races and using unfamiliar water sources.
